Aleyce has returned from a tour of the UK where she was a headliner at the YeeHawUK Country Music Festival.
Following the festival, Aleyce played sold-out shows in The Cotswolds, Basildon and Gloucester and four, multi-artist showcase shows in London including the iconic Troubadour. The Troubadour has been played in the past by artists such as Bob Dylan and Elton John.
Whilst in England, Aleyce met a promoter, taken by her heartfelt songs and powerful voice and stage presence. He immediately requested Aleyce to join aco-headlining tour with UK singer/songwriters, Jack Henderson and Sam Grimley through Norway in October and Australia in January and February 2015. Jack and Sam have been making waves in their own territories and are quickly becoming known as two of the UK’s most promising Singer/Songwriters, drawing references to Tom Waits, Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello.
This weekend, Aleyce heads to the Mildura Country Music Festival where she is a finalist in Best Album, Best Single and Female Artist Of The Year categories at the Independent Country Music Awards of Australia.
